I'll see you guys there.
I'll be sitting in ewcalls booth or sitting with dreamcatcher in the PPHA booth.
-
Will there be a 'tailgate section'?
By that, a guy drops his tailgate, sets up a table and sells new or used outdoor items outside the buildings?
Or maybe I should ask, will there be 'used' items for sale?
-
There is a nice mix of everything at the show. Some tables set up inside and the rest outside, with the big raffle table in the middle where the delicious food is served.
To better answer your question Hern, Yes, the last 2 years there were used items for sale.
-
Something for everyone new and used..... all vendors go through me before they get approval to set up some you know it's good ha! Plus there's some fellow club members who set up
-
Thanks for the info B66 & B'oB

Weekend Report from Renovo
My first trip there. Nice little town and a nice show. Thanks to Bees O'Brian
Big Raffle winner was our Pres. Darin. A FoxPro caller.
Best part: Seminar with Abner Druckenmiller. In attendance:
Hern Blett, Jake Clevenger,Mike Zon and the Big Cat.
Oh Yeah, Friday night Darin scored his first coyote.
-
It was another great mountain trip to the show. We signed a new member up, talked fur with a lot of guys, Hern had us ready to pee our pants laughing, had a great chat with Cliff Martin and somehow I must have sat on a lucky horseshoe, I was able to connect on my first Pa coyote, a mangie blonde but the memory will last a life time.
Also won a FoxPro Inferno. Great sounding call with lots of volume and the new remote is awesome, it puts the TX-9 to shame.
Always great to see a lot of members and officers at a show. Ernie, Joe, Mike Z, Mike G, Jake, Bee's, Cliff, Bryce, Hern, So-So Shot. Thank you for for coming guys. If I missed anyone I'm sorry and thank you too!
-
Great show, Bee's. Thank you.
Thanks to Lucky66, Dreamcatcher and all the members that man the PPHA Booth.
Great to see some of your ugly mugs and meet new friends. Good to see everyone.
Cliff, I'll buy the next flea collar for your beard ;D
Lucky66, I have another story I forgot to tell that might make you smile...
Buckwheat and brother, Bob, invited me to their cabin to call Coyote, Fish, relax around camp fire and attend Bee's Outdoor show.
We arrived at their cabin Wednesday.
I flubbed up on our Thursday night hunt.
As the long night progressed, I was sleepy tired.
We were all tired and decided to return to the cabin and forget about the last power line setup.
Ernie remarked, 'Let call it quits, but that's a nice setup we'll have to try some other time.'
From his sleepy tone of voice I could tell he wanted to do it tonight.
I replied, 'We are driving right by it. Right? What's another 15-20 minutes. And I like that spot too.'
We called that spot and nothing showed. Ernie gave me the signal the shows over and return to the truck.
I walked to the dirt road and emptied my gun. I opened the bolt and nothing came out. I did it again, nothing. No bullets.
I forgot to load my gun.
The pillow and sleeping bag felt good that night.
There is more to this story and hunt, when you see me next time, I'll tell you the rest of the story...
-
I look forward to it Hern and can't wait to hear all about it. LOL
-
Nice meeting everyone. I just got a call I won a prize off the table also just not sure what yet. ;D
-
thanks to everyone that attended numbers were so-so but didn't stop the fun..... Wish we could figure out how to draw more numbers for next year, as it truly is one of the nicest shows you'll ever go to
-
Bees
Yeah that was a nice show. I enjoyed it. I too wish there were more people there that were interested and browsing. I did end up buying 8 number 3 Northwoods 4 coil leg hold traps and 5 number one long spring traps. So was worth my trip.

It is a awesome show. It's the only one I plan on going to every year. I don't know if a hunt with the check-in on Saturday would draw more???? I'm sure Darin would be in on that. :D
-
Might be on to something big catches
-
My wife and I might not be allowed back.
I won a very nice Crelant rechargeable flashlight and my wife won a very nice glass turkey call.
Thanks to all.
As in the past events we had a great time.
Looking fwd to next year.
