My and my brother were fox hunting Sat. night. Things have finally seemed to break loose again. Or it might've been from the storm moving in. Stuff seemed to be moving pretty much all night. I'm running a 17 hornet with reduced loads. Really liking that gun so far this year, as far as pelt damage. I did have one that I caught in the neck, and it came out the back. That one needed some sewing. grrr Makes me angry when I don't do my part. My brother is shooting a 17 wsm. He's liking that gun this year. He shot one at 203 paces. Shoot straight n good luck! Looking forward to meeting some of you guys this weekend and chit chattin' again.

Congrats ABOLT! Awesome!
I'm liking my 17 Hornet Encore.
I hit one low bottom of the chest that ripped a big hole!
All other so far are with the factory 20 grain VMAX have been nice.
saw in Cabelas shooting carakog they were selling Hornady brand 17 WSM ammo. Check their web site and showed no such thing for sale.
Was wondering what the factory 17 Hornet Cali round does to fox? I think it's a 15 grainer!!
I have yet to reload the 17 Hornet but have everything I need.
