Saw an article in predator xtreme on the lucid L5 6-24x50. They also make a L5 4-14x44. Was wondering if anyone had any info on these scopes or knew anything about them? I've been looking for reviews and can't find much. I have a savage 10xp 204 that I use for all predators and ground hogs and I'm looking for a new scope. I'd like to keep it under $500 but I want to be able to kill ground hogs out past 500 yards but still want to have a good predator scope. Reading the article the scope seems like a good one but I'm just not sure.

Leupold has great scopes in that price range. I would stick with no less than a XX ll. Leupold bought out Redfield. You now get Leupold technology with Redfield pricing. You should be able to get a very good scope in that price range
