Which is your favorite fox to hunt? Mine is the grey because come in fast and aggressive.
-
Mine is Red because we have no Greys.
-
You will have to go somewhere and hunt them. They are a blast
-
I have to figure out how far I will have to go.
-
NP if you're in d5 you should'nt have far to go
-
We had greys up until the early 90's, and then they were wiped out.

grays

Grays by far! Sit on the call, turn it on, and get the semi auto shotty ready to pound. Fast action fun!
-
No greys here so reds for me.

Does anyone know where the cutoff is in the state when going west that greys stop inhabiting?
-
Reds....I like catching them way out in the firld and taking the long shots at em'

Im less than 20 miles from the Ohio line and have grays
-
Are you south of interstate 80?
-
Greys
-
Reds....we don't really have Greys around here.

nortpete. You shouldn't have to travel far. I've taken some greys around the Titusville/Hydetown area. Not so much around agricultural fields. More so around grass fields bordering thick scrubby cover. Seems that they prefer the thick stuff that's no fun to walk through IMO.

In the early days of my calling I'd call in reds to begin with and then I'd say. Well I guess I'm going to go pick up a couple grays before I quit hunting... They were abundant on a few farms I hunted on.. Now they are far and few between in my area of Pa. I call a few in during the season but not like the old days... Problem is when they develop land in put in big warehouses...:(
