with the cool weather, we shut off the air conditioning in the house and opened the windows the past couple of days. Last night we were just laying down to go to sleep and I hear what i thought was a cat fighting with another cat at first, then i realized it was a fawn in destress, it let out about 6 or 7 series of cries then i could hear momma snoring a really deep snort, sounded angry. we have bobcats, some coyotes from time to time, and bears behind the house. i am going to go back there after work and see if i could find anything.

It might be interesting to see what comes back to finish the meal if it was a big fawn and it is still there. I would take a camera and a gun.

i went behind the house yesterday, we have some big rock cliffs close to where i heard the fawn, so i circled down wind and set up and called to see if i could get anything to come in. nothing, i then check the area where i thought i heard them and couldn't find anything. i did see momma ratcoon with 5 or 6 little ones but nothing else.

Thanks for telling about what you did find. I was waiting to hear from your look about.
