Title: CR Cert.
Post by: shadowchaser on January 10, 2014, 04:10:00 PM
Anyone know if they have one of these classes in NE PA?  I was hoping to find one near Susquehanna or Wayne County.  I usually check the PAGC site, but most of their stuff is across the state.  It seems like everything happens in Western Pa....Thanks in advance.

It's a cable restraint class that u need to take to legally use cable restraints in pa. I believe its about a six hour course to get a certification from the game commission.

Hern,

Thanks for the info.  I tried to contact them and received a generic response from one and none from the other.

sc, if you are going to the Dist. 9, northeast Coyote hunt...
Ed will be there.
Ask about next CR class in the area. Ask to be put on contact list.

Most statewide classes are in summer or early fall.

I believe that you can find out this info on the PGC website. I'm at work now so can't look up the link.

Hern,

Thanks.

Zeke,

I've been checking.  All are quite a ways away.

The best thing to do is start checking in the spring because as Hern said a lot of them are in the summer. I checked the fall because I was interested in taking it also and there were only two classes that had openings and they were on the eastern side of the state and I'm over by Pittsburgh. Good luck brother

Not sure if this will help but you can type your zip code in to find out where and how many seats are open on each date. http://www.register-ed.com/programs/24
