All summer long I had a den of red fox(5) destroying my birds. We saw them everyday and once the season started we haven't called in or seen one. I've walked the ridges and have found very few tracks almost as if its just passing through. My question is would they move to a winter area after dispersing the pups? What are the odds they den in the same place come spring? I do know there is a bobcat hanging around as I have found multiple tracks on the ridge. Would a cat push them out?

Coyote would push them out, don't know if a cat would though.Yes the will den in the same spot. They will relocate if food source runs out.
