Anybody make any cheap decoy? I'm planning on going tomorrow night. Something I can make over night would be ideal. Gimme some ideas.

Usually a turkey wing feather in a string attached to an arrow or stick but todays decoys are cheap. I prefer the Mojo Critter for around $30. The motor is quiet and I've gained a lot of opportunities on fox while looking at it.

I have a mo jo crazy critter, but I like to use a simple feather on a string, tied to a coat hanger that I stick in the ground. The slightest wind will give it great movement.

Thanks.guys. i don't have a turkey feather on hand but ill def take a coat hanger and.string with and.see if I come across one. I was even contimplating on skinning an old Beenie baby or dog toy for the soft furry look

The principal is to have something that is moving to catch the attention of the predator. It will not only peek his interest more, but allow it to focus on the decoy and not the hunter.
Even a strip of light cloth flapping in the breeze will have the same effect.

Awesome. Can't wait to rig something up. I'm taking my 9 year old daughter with tomorrow to hold the light since I don't have a scope mount yet.

Don't foget that coyote hunting is not a "nite-time only" proposition......day break and shortly after have also been good times for me when calling.....
