Title: EWCALLS.COM Web site
Post by: Buckwheat on September 08, 2013, 01:50:12 PM
Over the years I have tried to keep my web site interesting to predator hunters and to also let my predator hunting friends see what I am up too. And along the way maybe help some get better at the sport. I also sell hunting equipment. I have never tried to make just a selling site other then for a hobby.   But a friend of mind thinks my site is a mess. So my question is? Should I change my site and make it more seller friendly?  I would like to here what the people that read my board think. I would like to here from everybody. If you would like can email me also at ewcalls@gmail.com  either way let me know so I do not let one friend influence me in the wrong type of change.

I would think you could and shoud do both.   If you check out the foxpro site it is a good example of a site that does both.

If you are looking to sell things then having a crisp clean informative site that show and explains products clearly is important.  If you check out Boondock Outdoors it is a site that has a terrific site to sell predator hunting products.

Just some food for thought...

I like the site but it is confusing at times. Especially when your trying to look at the products. I would like to see links directing you the the product you desire and having a entire page dedicated to it. On a side note, I used to have your sounds like 5 years ago and I don't know if you can download them still? If so, I don't know how.

I would like to see you sell some calls.  And I wish that you would return e-mails.  You showed some calls a long time ago and I e-mailed you right away.  No reply and other members have told me the same complaint.  I also e-mailed you telling you about the great sound from your howler and my wish to get another.  Reply-ZIP.  Be reliable-that is improving.  Dick

The lights you have this year are the best collection I am aware of on the market.   They will greatly contributute to guys being more successful in the field, killing more critters, and no mistaken kills.  I hope you sell alot of these lights.  Thanks for offering such quality products for our sport in PA.

Ernie,  I have purchased and have tried to purchase from you in the past.  I am looking to purchase and I wouldn't be required to ask these ? if you had thee specs on the sight.  So I guess that I am answering both of your Questions.  Dick

I am working on that. My English and running a site is not my strong point.  I am just a red neck hick doing his best.
A friend is giving me some help with my web page so I have hope it will get better.

Ernie,  Sorry that it took me so long for this answer but my computer took a s--t but it now has a new heart.  Sorry about your English.  What does your Tripod weigh and what are your open and closed dimensions?  If you don't understand that then I don't know what other way to ask but I'm sure that I will have another ? after you answer.  Dick
