Well I have been spend that last few days reorganizing the trapping shed, pressure washing the traps and getting ready to beef up about 3 doz. Bridgers. Gonna laminate the jaws ,4 coil them all and base plate em.
Anyone else getting ready for the upcoming season yet. ;)

I looked at the piles of traps on the floor and bucket after bucket of stuff all piled up. Thats about it. I will be getting to it before long. I try to wait till closer to season because I will get the itch real bad. I trapped a few groundhogs last week and man did it feel good!

I'm going on my third season, been reading a lot and taking notes. Only have 18 traps so not a lot of prep work to do, but hoping I can get a grey or bobcat for the wall....ED

I have to start early, I set up to 120 footholds each year, so I have quite a bit of prep. ;)

I just wax now so it goes fast, my new wax pot holds 4 at a time.

I wax my trap different than everyone else, as soon as they come out of dye pot I shake em and drop them into the wax.dip em and pull out hang to dry. Never had any problem without it taking or sticking to the traps. Just my way of doin it , plus it makes all kind of noise and sounds cool lol.
