We have always had great luck at this property and this hunt would prove no different. After a close encounter here on an early season setup we gave the property a long rest knowing the next setup would have a good chance of connecting.

These guys defy everything I've heard about calling coyotes.....Everything I read and hear says coyotes very seldoom are able to be called out into an open field. These guys do it on a regular basis!!! IMPRESSIVE

Jake
I used to believe the same thing. Not any more
Working around that belief just screwed up a lot of daytime stands.
I've had them cross 300 yds of field that looked like a lawn at 930am
You downwind guys can really layem down !!!

I would like to meet the person that started the rumor you can't call them into the fields in the day time in the east. Is it harder then hunting the woods....yes but, you can't beat a dog in the open!
Thanks for watching guys!

I have much more respect for outfits that show the misses as well as the hits. That is real hunting.
What gun and caliber are you using in the video? I am guessing a .223 maybe?
Thanks for sharing...cool video.

It's a 22-250

That's my favorite Calibre !! I know a lot of guys prefer the .223, but I love the 22-250!! It's fast and flat shooting!!

It is a great caliber for coyotes as well as the .243...Rick
