How you doing? My name is Adam,, I'm 25 from Corry PA and I am new to this forum. As a matter of fact I am completely new to predator hunting in general. I am looking to start Coyote hunting around my area (1B) but Have the slightest Idea of what to do. So I am here to learn as much as possible. My favorite weapon of choice is the Savage model 10 .308. Well its actually my only weapon of choice since I only own that riffle. Anyways Just wanted to say hi and say a little about me.  :)

Welcome aboard Adam.  There are a lot of good Coyote hunters on here with a lot of good advce.  You'll learn a lot just by reading the forums.  If you have any questions, simply post the question and you'll get plenty of response.

     There are many of us new to the Coyote hunting and we'll all learn the process together.  I finally called in my first dog over the weekend.  What a rush.  The good news was I finally got to call one in.  The better news was I actually got to get a shot off.  The best news is I missed and didn't have to drag that big dog out of the woods!!   LOL

Welcome Savage. Break the silence in the night and put fur on the ground. The PPHA members here are the best predator hunters in the state. I am a new member here myself but have been hunting predators for about 4 years now. These members have alot of good information and all you have to do is ask. You will get responses.

Welcome,  The Savage 10 is a great rifle and the 308 is all you need in the Eastern US and good for most of the West.  Dr. Major Boddicker of the "CritR Call uses the H&K 308 Semi auto as his primary coyote gun.  But , he gets paid for dead Coyotes not pelts.  If you reload then I have some things you can look into.  No doubt that if you put one in the front half. he is DRT.  Dick

Welcome to the PPHA Savage, you will learn a great deal about the sport on here.
Everything is a little slow on the boards right now , but if you have any ? I guarantee you get honest answers as for the seasoned members pretty much stay on top of the posts that need replied too.
