Nice article and kudos for the reference to Ernie's web-site. Too bad they didn't print a link or contact information to the PPHA as a source to help new guys in the sport.
Been thinking of getting a .223 after reading Ben's favorable reports. How are you finding them with fox pelts?
-
I find it not too bad actually. I was originally using Hornady vmax bullets but have switched to PSP on a recommendation from BigBen. If you get a .223, I think you'll really like it.
Yeah when the guy was interviewing me I told him all about the PPHA gave him the website address and also told him about all the members we have that sell calls, lights etc along with their website addresses. I guess he decided to use Ernie's. I think the deciding factor was that Ernie had sounds on his site that readers could hear.

What grain psp are you using? Are you rolling your own or buying? Thanks.

Pretty awsome Rick! I really like your gun mounted light! Is the 223 your choise for fox hunting?
-
Yes I use the .223 or 12 guage but mostly the .223 I've been using the 55gr PSP. Right now I'm buying, I've acquired all the necessary tools to start relaoding my own just need to get started. After the season I'm going to sit down and start playing with some loads.

I hear yea Rick. I have all the stuff to start reloading for the 17 fireball. Probably this summer

if you are going with a .223 give the varmit grenades a shot. I had good success last year.
