I be heading out this coming weekend maybe do a set or two during the week. Pretty hard during the week getting up at 3:45 for the work week but we will see.
I called one in this October. When i was on my way to where I wanted to call from I seen eyes in the middle of the field just sitting there could not id what is was (like 350 yards out). I sat down started calling using bunny blues and it just sat there. Then I got out the fox pro and put in lucky brid. As soon as i started playing it it got up and came right in like it was on a string.
Last year like 3 days after season was out about a mile from where I seen this one called in a very nice cat. Came right in to the bunny blues. Very hard charger. Was about 25 yards from me looking at me. When it was comming in I thought it was a red I called in early in the season. When it finally stoped I kept telling myself something does not seem right. Then it truned broadside. Im thinking to myself I wish I seen you like 3 days sooner. Very nice cat.
Both cats came into constant calling on an ecaller. Both came into the caller under 5 mins. The one this oct that I called in. If I didnot see eyes when walking to my stand I would of never used a bird sound and I would probably not know there was one in this location.
Last year was close in filling out a tag this year looks very promising. Good luck to all that it trying to fill there cat tag.

On saturday while muzzleloader hunting with a bunch of friends we were putting on drives. The next to last drive of the day they pushed a large bobcat right into my lap. After he spotted me and made a quick exit we walked off the distance. He was a total of 13 paces from me. We did notice that he had a large doe hidden in the mountain laurael hiden under a pie of leaves.
