Hey guys I'm new to the predator hunting sport and have been in the woods for a couple months a few nights and mornings a week and have no success in seeing anything except for tracks. I have recently bought the foxpro wildfire and was wondering what sequence is used for calling in coyote's and fox. I have one location that's only fox and another that is both and I just can't seem to call them in. So what sounds are you guys using and for how long ect.

I hunt near a local pig farm in my area. I have experienced the same thing. I've seen a lot of fox tracks in the snow, but no success when it comes tocalling any fox. My personal belief is "Timeing". I have to get there when the fox are there. Try hunting you area at various times, perhaps this may work for you. Obviously the fox are there, thats been proven by the tracks. Now its just a matter of being there when they are.....Just my opinion.

It may be that the fox and coyotes are traveling throw the area and not staying there. The one area I use to hunt was like that I had to call the area between 9 and 10 at night other wise I would never call anything in. Keep calling the area at different times of the night and day and you will eventually find out what time they are in the area.

When you set up your caller make sure you are on the down wind side of it.
