Title: how well do shotguns work?

Still a shotgun/predator virgin. When I hunt by myself i don't have enough arms to carry everything and 2 guns. I was wandering tho do you end up with a bunch of small holes in the pelt or is it more of a blunt force trama type death?

you get some small holes in the hide, but I keep my shots on the head neck area. You have to pattern your shotgun before going out so you don't miss a chip shot.
