i have in the past but only stick to private property that only i have permission to hunt.  hunting public land people think your poaching deer and it could become a problem.  i am alittle more leary this year even on private property because i take my son with me.     from what i am hearing the deer hunters are seeing a lot of coyotes and fox in the woods this year.

I have to agree with that.  Both of my brothers, hunting around 40 miles apart saw more coyotes then whitetails.  They both know I've been dabbling in coyote hunting and both have asked me to hunt their properties with them.  Looking forward to getting out there for some coyote fun.

I went last year during deer season twice.  I went to an area I had seen a yote during the day and actually had a 6 pt who was laying in the brush line come to investigate the caller.  Funny part was hunters were all over that area during the day.  Next time I went out I had a coon and a bobcat come in.
