Well it has begun... I have started dreaming of chasing predators again. Seems to have happened a bit earlier to me this year. I have not sought new spots in a couple years and have decided to invest a day next week to finding new spots. I am going to expand my radius a bit further away from home base. Looking forward to getting out there and seeing what I can find. Any tips?

Good luck. That is what it takes to have a good season. Keep in mind you have to also lay out a path to follow or you can spend to much time driving to spots instead of hunting.

Picked up a few nice spots in the last couple of days. Sure hope they remember me when I call in December. :D Trying to figure out some driving loops as well...that is good advice.
Looks like it is going to be a good season. Landowners are reporting seeing fox almost daily. Only one farmer has seen coyote. Guess the red population is doing good. These are good times to be a predator hunter. Six months to go...

Season seems to be starting later every year. :(
