Title: Pa Goosehunter Daughter took 2nd Place in states 100 M photo finish
Post by: uncle buck on May 26, 2012, 08:14:01 PM: Congrats to Jim Whitmore (Pa Goosehunter) daughter Jessica Whitmore Chambersburg for taking 2ND place in the 100 M AAA STATES event at Shippensburg today! It was a photo finish and Jessica lost by thousandths of a second.. It was nice to watch it now on PCN! Jessica we are proud of you!!!!Congrats Jim on having your daughter run an outstanding race!!!!

I checked the Patriot News Sports section! Both the 1st and 2ND place times was 12.07! Truly a photo finish ! the win was determine by the the person whose torso crossed first! Congrats to both of these fine athletes!

She only lost by .004 of a second...they use the NASCAR finish devices. :o Now she will be off to run for Mount St. Mary's for the next four years...and let Dad retire ta-boot!!
