I am just starting to chase coyotes and was wondering if anyone could help me. I am looking to purchase some calls and not sure what sounds I should get. I would like to get a small selection to get started. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the PPHA, pretty much sum it up by saying pretty much anything you buy from foxpro will be good.

Some members on this site make mouth calls. I suggest you start with these calls.
Mouth calls are easy to use, low coast, light weight and work great.
Mouth calls are all I use for Coyote.

That's sound advice! I have 2 fox pros but find myself using one of my mouth calls more often than not.

Sorry my quote didn't work....take Hern's advice....

I agree with Hern. I use both but here's a situation the other night I was out with Leglifter we set up between a cornfield and the edge of the woods, I set out the foxpro and nothing. I tried to get it working and nothing still so i started with the mouth calls. Had I not had any mouth calls we would have been heading home. Always pays to have a back up plan just in case

Thanks for the info. I want to get some mouth calls but I have to drive an hour to find a store with a decent selection so I am going to have to wait till sat when I am off.

There are guys on this site who sell them. You can get them right over the net.
