Just a tip. :)
I don't know if anyone else has this problem.
On the Silent Halo Shield for XLR-250 Kill-light the front of it kept getting oval and restricting the amount of light coming out.
I had some 5 conductor thermostat wire with the brown outer insulation, I cut a piece and made a circle with it and tucked it under the flap.
Now it's perfect and can't collapse.

Just sliding it over a piece of PVC when not in use did the trick for me.... Just how I did it, the wire is a good idea though

I went out hunting last night. I just pulled my 3" sunshade off my groundhog scope and slipped it in the shield. It worked very well. Just another way to fix the problem.
