Title: Hunting the nights before deer season
Post by: Buckwheat on November 26, 2011, 04:35:34 PM
Just a reminder.
As you all may no, the spot lighters will be out in force right now. So pick your spots were spotters do no show up as much. Also pick your stand location were you are out of the way of the spot lighters just in case they do happen to show up. They my never know you are there. After 11pm hit any of your calling spots because they have to stop spot lighting. A lot of uninformed spot lighters this time of the year think you might be shooting there deer so be polite if confronted. This information has helped me avoid confrontations I am sure, because I personally never had a bad confrontation doing this.

If they are spotlighting after 11pm. I do think I would be shining them back. But my red head light on strobe and a siren sound might freek them out. :-)
