Well its confirmed I have a digger fox on my hands, went to check my traps and for the second day in a row my 1 trap was dug up , so now its time to put in a blind set and see if I can stop this critter from doing that.

Are you sure its not a coon?
they like to dig around in loose dirt and flip traps
-
no its a fox the track is clear

did it just uncover your trap or flip it out of the way? i had on uncovered today i hate that. i suspect it was a coon but not pisitive. my trap had to stink it had 4 coon in it this week. hope you get it in the blind set. a urin post near by might get it.
good luck

Try setting your trap upside down.A little tricky but it works.

well it looks like the digger fox is going to live. :( I receaved a phone call yesterday after supper and it was the land owner , he called to ask me to remove my traps that 1 of his neibers dog got in 1 of my traps. He appoligized and said I know you asked if this would be a problem when you ask for permition to trap and I said no. So I go to pull my traps only to find the 1 the dog was in is smashed , the lady let her dog out and smashed my trap with a rock >:( . so now I go to the land owner who by the way is a friend of mine and tell him now we have a problem. he says he will make thing right with me and will talk to the lady . be for I left he told me you know you are welcome back here any time to hunt . not sure what to do now, let it go because he is a freind and I can go back there and at lease hunt fox and coyote , or contact the PGC which could stir up trouble and I may loss a hunting spot .
