So how long until the next season long hunt signup starts?? I'm itching for a little smack talking and mud slinging. Everyone talks a good game online don't forget ;)

District 5 is hosting it this year and of course it starts the beginning of the season. Keep watching for more details.

I believe that d5 has a stipulation that all animals are to be harvested within d5"s boundaries.
I see no reason why all the other districts cant have a season long hunt

X2, If you guys need an extra hand with it I'd be more than glad to help in any way, before I ran a contest on a site called "hunting net" wasn't PA specific but it had a small turnout and it was something to get my feet wet so to speak. I've got nothing but time while I'm at college so by all means guys, let me know if there's anything I can do at all to help out, I'd love to see this grow.

I also realize, with being a new guy to this forum, I do lack credibility and seeing as how I don't know many people from the ppha I may have stepped on a few toes, however I'd just like to emphasize that I'd just like to help out if at all possible.

I dont think you're stepping on any toes, your willingness to help is greatly appreciated Ryan,
What district are you in?
-
D4, I live in altoona, blair county. If that helps at all.
Ryan.
-
we like help!
-
i love to see people willing to help out. one of the best ways to help is to participate in the hunts.
-
We have to have the hunt first :D

The northcentral hunt is probably my favorite, in November.
Ryan, do you know where Renova (Renovo) is?
-
I believe so, I live in williamsport for college so I think we bear hunt up near there.

Hey any word on a D4 Season long hunt yet? Prizes or no prizes we should atleast have one imo...
Ryan.

You are going to have to contact your d4 coordinator for that question Ryan

there is no plan for a d4 season long hunt at this time. there is a weekend long predator hunt scheduled. as well as a meeting coming up in the next two months.

Well that's unfortunate for sure.

unfortunate maybe. but at the time I did not want to take away from d5's season long hunt.

my7pointmonster,I can tell your a very competitive person.I'll have to admit I did enjoy the season long hunt last year and was a little disappointed to see that unlike last year knowone outside of the district can participate.Although that probably makes it more fair.As much as I enjoy the competitions I enjoy it much more when one can hunt unpressured.I can respect your enthusiasm and it is that kind of drive that makes for a successful predator hunter. There is still some very good events for the rest of us guys that aren't in district 5 and it would be great to have as many participate as possible.Best of luck to the d5 guys and look forward to the stories and pictures.

I know what your saying, I hope that I didn't give you the wrong impression, I'd just love to see it for more forum activity and will improve the relationships among the club members. There's no part of me which wants to take away from the D5 guys and don't think that, I'm more of the be happy for everyone no matter what. I'd rather sit and call for friends and share in their enjoyment than call in and shoot for myself. Just hoping I didn't come off as "THAT" guy. I'm more chomping at the bit for this season due to new property acquisitions and new equipment I've also never been apart of a "localized" predator hunt of this scale, so it was something I put the sights on. Hopefully I didn't step on any toes and hopefully didn't make anyone angry in the process. Gotta tone it down some. Only a few weeks left to go.
Anyhow.
Ryan.
