Title: Heavy Spring rains...Kills the young

Always hated the Springs with a lot of heavy rains... I remember reading something in Pa Game News when I was a kid...That many of the young critters do drown in the Spring when the rains are heavy.. Some in dens, nest  and even the game birds too..If they are just too small yet...Chicks...

especially the birds/poults with nesting on/near the ground level like turkey and grouse.
