Anybody from D 4 are going to this shoot? Or South Central Pa? Thinking about it, would drive or help with expenses [GAS] if some one else is going out.

I'm giving it some serious thought..I enjoyed the last one.

This does sound like a good time. I got info for the hunt but does anybody have the address for the sportmens club. Hopefully I will be able to make it and meet you guys.

Shoot foxkillerz a pm on here and he will hook you up with all the info on the shoot.

I called to find the address and i guess we just have a P.O. box. So here is the closest place to the club. It is real easy to find from here.

Once you see the bank we will have signs set up from there you will turn on to Sykesville School Road. You will then go about a half a mile the turn right on to the clubs road. Any more questions feel free to email me. Thanks

Is my carnivore hunter night shooting rest legal for your night shoot? Check it out at my web site and let me know.
-
Ernie,
Its not my shoot, I'm just sponsering it. The shoot is being run by the Middleridge Sportsmans Club.
I will check out your site and see if it fits my interpretation of the rules though.
Jeremiah
-
Ernie,
I just looked at the carnivor and I would say no as I believe that the club decided that if the rest can hold your gun in shooting position without you touching it then it is a vise. Please feel free to contact Derek Hoyt as I may be wrong though. These rules were not meant to exclude anyone, but to make it fair across the board. I would like it if you could attend and im sure you could demo your rests if you like, but once again please ask Derek as it is his shoot.

Just wanted to add to Jeremiahs post that pre-registration is greatly appreciated but we are not going to turn anyone down. If you are coming and dont have time to get registered please pm me your name address and phone number so i can get you on the list and all you have to do is pay.
As for the rest anything that can hold your rifle without being supported by you the shooter is not legal for the shoot. Thanks

Derek and Jeremiah
Thanks for the replays, just wanted to make sure in case I decided to come up.
-
Ernie, I hope you can make it. Like I said you are more than welcome to demo your product for people as far as im concerned.
J.Weber
-
Hope ew calls comes, like to see the new rest and a couple other guys would also i think..dibo
-
So are NY guys welcome? I'd be very intersted in coming.
-
Yeah anyone can come. Be glad to have you there.
-
To add to Dereks post. Everyone who wants to come and have fun is welcome. But the PA legal hunting firearm rule still applies.

dibo (Bob)
The night shoot had my interest a little but not being allowed to use my rests and the long drive there and back late at night is farther then I like and does not have me to excited. But if there is enough serious people like you interested in these rests at this event I would reconsider the drive a little more. I know I would like to hag out with you a little and just show you this rest in action but it is a long drive. Maybe if not enough interest there I can make it to one of those shoots you told me about and test one out there.
-
Ernie, if im closer, you should GIVE me one to demo at shows for you
-
You going Bob?
-
No Ian,
I was just tryin to finangle a free rest off of Ernie ;)
-
You can use my shoulder... ;)
-
and you, mine ;)

Just wanted to let everyone know that the shoot went great it seemed like everyone had a good time. We had 35 people register and 25 of them shot in the shoot. Kirk put on a great seminar as always. Next one we have is either going to be in the fall or in early spring so we can get shooting earlier. The winner was Scott Gregory of Grampain,PA with a score of 46 out of 50. Thanks to Kirk for coming up and all that came and hope to see you all next year. Also want to thank Boonedock Outdoors for helping sponser the seminar and for all the items he donated for the shoot.
