I guess I won't be taking any coyotes to enter in the Mosquito creek hunt. I called in a very large coyote this morning and he circled me in some thick brush. I just couldn't get a shot into him. It looked at least as big as the 45 lb. red male I shot 3 weeks ago. The next setup I scared about 20 deer that went crashing into the area I wanted to call. Got rained out Friday morning. Waisted 3 hours at a gun sale this afternoon, and maybe I will try hunting yet tonight. I am about to fall asleep listening to the fox pro while I am out there. Sometimes, you just gotta hang it up and take a nap. Sure hope someone had some luck. Still am having a blast...
