-
Dang were having a good time!!!!Brother Tom and my Nephew Eric... Pleasure to hunt coyotes with people who know what they are doing and do what they are suppose to do..Sometimes!!!!LOL
-
so has anyone heard any results yet they have posted anything on their site yet.
-
I wonder how the Polygraph test went over when they tried to give it to the people that got the top dogs???
-
that could get interesting if lets say it maybe give a false reading for for one of the top finishers. I dont know how accurate these things really are. guess we shall see once its all final. So im guessing none of the members on here had any luck
-
Received this from brother Tom:
The results of Mosquito Creek Hunt.. Gee they had one person fail the test!!!!

Good one guy got busted.
-
They should give everyone that brings in a coyote the test too.....
-
Geez Uncle Buck you are a hard one.
-
wonder what it was that caused him to fail the test. wonder what kinda of questions the were asking. Ill have to contact my cousin he is the one who wrote the article for the Progress maybe he knows. make u wonder what he did to fail it
-
Geez Uncle Buck you are a hard one.
Ah...but see....even the cheaters that turned in illegal coyotes during the hunt that were not in the top 4 category stole from every other hunter that bagged one legally...The pot would have been bigger for the ones killed legally IAW the rules of the Mosquito Creek Hunt..
Also.......Wow don't people know that vengeance be mine saith the lord!!! Paybacks for what people do can be down right tough too...
They just might get more then their $176.00 worth...Don't know what everyone got for a coyote turn in but I figure it was probably about that much...
-
Do you guys think the polygraph was a success or was it more of just a good idea on paper??
Ryan.
-
if the results were correct than i guess it was a sucess. and the prize went to the the hunter who rightful deserved. I dont have a problem with it be i also dont have a problem with following the rules and regulations, just my .02
-
The polygraph test might not make any difference to some morons that think they are hunters. Some of them will lie all day long. Especially when I catch them trespassing. I think the test should be done on all successful hunters. Just my ideas

NO guys with dogs don't tresspass on private land. Dogs can't read the signs? LOL

thats right they even have that in that nice little handy dandy book they hand out ever year. ;D
-
If there wasn't a prize there wouldn't have been 3500 +/- people there. Believe me.
Ryan.

I don't have problems with guys and their dogs trespassing. Just guys dressed in full camo "hunting deer" with high power rifles in archery or just "taking the gun for a walk but wouldn't shoot anything" Yeah right! I used to hunt coons with dogs and gave that up when I started dating. My dogs knew how to read and would know exactly where the boundaries were in the whole state. LOL I encourage all people to hunt my ground for predators and don't care what method they want to use. But when deer season comes around, everyone wants to hunt but none of them offer to help with taxes, through hay bales in the summer, pick rocks, help me clear logging roads, build tree stands, etc. Most of them don't ask, just say they don't see why it matters if they are hunting posted ground without permission. The nimrods! Go get a life! I have given permission to a few who say they really needed deer meat and wanted to shoot a doe to only have them kill an illegal buck. Then they wine about not coming back. Sure makes me mad.

I agree,
respect for the landowner has declined a great deal
-
Not just respect for landowners. There is a lack of respect in all aspects of life. I sometimes think that life is so fast paced that some people feel they only have time to think of themselves. Screw everybody else, I can't be worried about them type of attitudes.

The actual hunt results!!!!

I'm dumb.

Zekedog hit it right on the head.Nowadays in this fast-paced concrete jungle RESPECT-HONOR and ETHICS is no doubt dwindling away. There are still lots of good folks where an old school handshake or your word meant something but they are just harder to find.I better not start to ramble.Have a fantastic day!!Wowitan nahan yuonihan!!!

And still, 0 in Blair county, I may be the only person I know who killed one in Blair County...
