Title: It's Cold!!
Post by: Pa Goosehntr on January 24, 2011, 06:20:30 AM: Brrrrrr....this morning at my house it was 4° and when I got off the Interstate my truck was registering 1°...thank goodness there wasn't a 30 MPH wind....guess I'm just getting old >:( cause this is starting to bug me now....but it wasn't to bad yesterday when I was out lookin for sheds....but it was hard to roll out of bed this mornin... :(

I do know he just doesn't have the clothing to keep himself warm..One stand for coyotes he quit at the 30 minutes mark instead of staying the minimum 45 minutes..

Predator hunters.. You got to have the best equipment... Remember layering works... Also the double socks work too but make sure you also have the right boot on too.. I got to find me some of those Boss Booties.. I have a pair but when something is good you need to have an extra pair on hand..Also the hoodies be it Underarmour or generics they sure keep your face frostbite free..

Post by: jaspr1 on January 27, 2011, 04:59:28 AM: ;D Your right on the money...I found her in Huntingdon Co. and she can be quite dramatic.....a rabbit was in the flower bed out front nipping off her flowers last summer...she was in a treestand for three days trying to get him with her .270 :o I said get in here your going to get arrested and she just kept mumbling something about crop damage..... >:( Also this isn't your house I'm the King around here ::) She gets the coal and takes the ashes out, when she's not shoveling snow....lol

I saw a few (red Fox) along the edge of the fields as I drove along and I called in two red fox... I hunted from about 9:15 to 1:00 AM and made 8 sets...See I do feel all those cold cold cold single digit days impacted their movement.. Get out at night now during these warm temps and you might knock off a few.. I think the full moon is soon too but no matter you only have until Saturday to get some more fox..
