Title: some of my favorite conditions are upon us.

we have snow up here then freezing rain and more snow.  there are going to be some hungry fox and coyotes in the next couple of days and weeks to come.   get where it is just legal and call.

I got where it was legal last night and killed a nice red...(25 yards from the vehicle)  Called it in with of all things???????Primos Lil Dog (white) no meg attachment on it using My rendition of the rabbit.. It came running right at me from the up wind side stopped 5 yards away... Dropped him without the light too at about 25 yards.. He took off and I got him with the SBE 2 and one of my Reload 12 gauge B shots...It has been just recently that I was cutting that mouth call down.. Telling a few people on here "I can't believe I am not calling in anything with the Primos Lil Dogs.." Then Here comes one in last night 5 yards right to me.. LOL LOL

I  only hunted two farms back to back since the roads were bad so I just didn't want to drive around.. Of course to do that all evening I had to walk... Yep once I started walking on the crusty snow I didn't see anything.. So Scott knows what he's talking about when the snow gets crusty just get where it legal.. They are hungry and they will come right to you....

Nice the snow is coming in every other day here in Pa... That will help when hunting this week during the full moon..One of the few times when wearing white camo IMO seems to take away that negative Full Moon Syndrome some of us experience..  However again still the full moon prevails..Just get legal, 25 yards  and call...

Yep with these storms coming and going daytime will work out.. Probably will not even need to nail them with the JS Baby Red Fox Pup as we discussed for daytime hunting... They probably going to be HUNGRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY in the daytime..

Nice!!!!Your lucky you can use the AR up there in New York State... Something like that would work out nice at night time over snow during twilight conditions back here.. Just wish our PGC and State legislature just had the big picture when it comes to hunting predator with AR's.

While hunting today...I was surprised on HOW SNOW NEVER LIES.. Get this you could see the deer trails but you also could see the coyote tracks going along the same deer trails.  Makes you think these coyotes are following our deer herds just like wolves follow the caribou????????


Starting to think that these coyotes truly do have wolf in them not pure coyote..

easiest way to travel in the snow,they are all over snowmobile trails aswell.

They are nice to have,but they certainly arent a bolt gun.I negelect my M700 more than I should....it's sad really. ;)
