A $4.50 auto plug light from wal-mart auto department and old Nitelite hat, a couple of rivets, and a power pack with auto jack outlets..Your in business.. I Dykem the white lens on the light and gee it a great shotgunners light.. the beam is real wide.. I carry it at my side and why it might look heavy it's not.. I carry it in a shoulder Knapp sack that takes all the weight away.

what did you use for the halo shield?

Can Kooler...Just cut out the inside end that is solid and slip it on.  It works great on Nitelite or Western River headlights...Cost from  $.25 (Clearance)  to   $.99.   Check in department stores or craft stores  or they are sometimes given by vendors to people for promotions too..
I have one that has the USCG emblem on it but I'd rather use it for hunting then for a can kooler..
