I am doing research to be a better predator hunter. I just can't relate to most of the books and mags that I am reading. It seems like everyone is talking about vast distances, "watching coyotes coming in from 1000 yards" etc. If I am standing on a road near me I can't even see 1000 yards !
I guess my question is this, are there any local (eastern hardwood) coyote references out there? I was in Barnes and Nobles yesteday they don't have anything.
I would look on Pred. Masters for info as well but i can' t get on that site from work....
Thank You ahead of time...

I can not think of any books on eastern coyote hunting.
Brent Saxon(keekee) has a DVD out on coyote hunting in the east. Byron South has a DVD called "coming to the call, hunting the thick stuff" that was made to suit the eastern callers but was filmed in Texas.
Dave Dunbar is coming out with a DVD here soon, he is a member of the PPHA and does most of his hunting in PA. This is the one to buy if you can wait for it.
Hope this helps
