Title: Pheasant Distress
Post by: melsdad on October 26, 2010, 10:17:19 AM
Does anyone make a pheasant distress call? The game lands, and bordering private land are stocked pretty heavily with pheasant. My guess is this would be a good sound to use in this area. What do you think?

Thanks Ben, but no foxpro yet. I have an old J.S 512 tape caller. I am mostly trying to do all my calling with mouth calls though.

Johnny Stewart has the Pheasant distress on cassette.. Do a check on the web...Maybe www.allpredatorcalls.com.  I have it and it does work well for reds and grays when I use the Corner Corn setup....Um I think Dennis Kirk and Burnham Bros sell it too...Go to www.huntsmart.com and see if Kirk still sales it on cassette...

Also so you don't get frustrated by other hunters.. Only hunt there at night time...

Olt does sale a Pheasant mouth call...
