Title: coyotes howling tonight

took the pup out running rabbits tonight, during her second chase some coyotes opened up on a ridge about 300 yards away, sound like a couple of them.  at this spot i have been seeing grey, red, and coyote sign.

I think I'd return and see if you can lure them in with some calling before the opener and the full moon.
