Title: another lucky dog

me and yote stalker we set up in a feild 75 yards from the woodline, we have shot 2 coyotes and one red fox from this same setup.. we got setup and waited to things to settle, the downwind was to our left, i was using my verminators physco tweety call, after about 10 mins into our set i shined from behind me going torwards the downwind, i get to the downwind and there is set of coyote eyes bobbing coming in on a mission, they stopped 50 yards from us, yotestalker asked should i take him, i said yes, the blast of his 243 sounded with a thump, we were shure he hit it, we looked and looked for about 20 mins and just could not find it, we are having alot of bad luck this year

You at least got him coning in...you are doing something right ;)

You should have checked the shooting area in the daytime.. I have heard that whack of the rifle shot or the squeal when you use a shotgun and you find them close by in the morning.

ya yotestalker checked after school the next day and didnt find anything, its just not our year this year haha
