Title: Bear hunting with crossbow
Post by: Buckwheat on October 11, 2010, 09:36:33 AM
Who is thinking of going Archery bear hunting with a bow since the season is a week long? I am thinking I would like to give it a shot this year. I have not hunted them for a wile but have take 3 with a gun in the past. I am even thinking I might try with a crossbow.

C' mon over Buckwheat. It's only a five hour drive one way. I just bought a new crossbow and I need to score a kill. It's a terrible thing to own a weapon that has not one confirmed kill. That needs to change asap. A bear would be nice.

I belong to a camp in Clinton county and I am thinking about hunting there maybe all week. But a shooting one and getting them out is always a problem.

Buckwheat if you get one just put the bear on your back and walk out. Lol

Not me, somebody might not identify there target and shoot me. Then they probably will say they were trying to save my life from the bear on my back. But shooting a little on might be the answer! easy drag LOL

Foxpro51, it looks like you and me are going to have to put a dent in the Bear population by ourselves. I was really hoping Ernie would post for the hunt. Does any one else want to come to the Laurel Mountains to hunt bear?
