I have only seen 2 coyotes. One in Fayette county and one in Green county Pennsylvania.
-
I shot three and I've seen several others. Plus, I and you and I have heard them at night. I plan to see at least one tonight and with a little luck, kill it.
Are you sure you don't want to go?
-
I will go, pick me up.

I have seen 4 from my treestand, one while driving home on the turnpike and one which I shot durning buck season two years ago. I've heard over 50 in the last 5 years with three packs howling at the same time a cuple of years ago durning archery season. They come and go with the different years, moving in and out of the area....ED

Called in 43 in South Central Pa, Central Pa (Clearfield-Centre Counties) and North Eastern PA . Sometimes I see them and sometimes the person I put in location to shoot gets to see them. I have only saw one why hunting deer..That was in Dauphin County in 1986.

Buckwheat, if you lived closer I would gladly pick you up to go hunt. I did four stands and saw no eyes. I did however see a bright white spotlight shining in my eyes. It was a local female cop. She looked at me with my gun hanging over my shoulder with my light force mounted to it. I was dressed in all black. I had my foxpro and four to five hand calls around my neck and a full face mask on when she pulled in. She must have been scared to death because she blinded me with the light and was yelling "what are you doing, keep your hands where I can see them". And I said ,"I am trying to coyote hunt but that kills this spot". Then she said,"you hunt at night"? " "Why"? I said "because coyotes come from the Werewolf family and they only come out at night". She ran my plate number and said,"seriously, what are you doing"? So I said, "park your patrol car and come with me and I'll show you". That is when she "maybe next time" and drove away. It's amazing how many people don't understand this sport. So as a word of precaution, Be careful hunting out there.

It is only 5 hour drive one way! If you leave at 9 am we could be back at your place and hunting at dark. Should I get ready awhile?
