Spreader loads...Wads that can be used to make your shotgun loads spread.
The Bushwhacker wads are also suggested for buckshot too...

On the other end if you want your shotgun to shoot near like a rifle..You use this wad: Even if it's designated as a steel shot or Hevishot wad.
You can use size B lead and make the shot more lethal at longer distances. See the petals of the wad are not slit so the shot departs the shotgun a bit longer inside of a solid wad construction..
