The"asian tiger mosquito" has found it's way here folks. Was confirmed by Allegheny Co. health dept. It's in the West Mifflin area. Nasty little bugger. >:(

This is an Aedes albopictus female mosquito obtaining a blood meal from a human host. Under experimental conditions the Aedes albopictus mosquito, also known as the Asian tiger mosquito, has been found to be a vector of West Nile virus. Aedes is a genus of the Culicine family of mosquitos.

Probably Thermocell won't help you against the Tiger either? Must be that Three Rivers meeting together that is causing a breeding ground out there? Wonder if they growl instead of buzzing?
Good to know about this so you can be prepared...Thermocell, Snap on Off device, and 100% DEET products for sure....
