Title: So many types of decoys out there now?
Post by: uncle buck on July 04, 2010, 03:51:01 PM
I have yet to even try my Foxpro decoy in the field? I just have to much stuff to carry in the way it is.  However wow...Look in the predator call sections of all stores now...All kinds of decoys on the market...  Folding rabbits, coyotes, fox,,  A Magpie,  etc...Just got Predator Extreme magazine and there are all kind of decoys for sale in there now.

I have one of those Featherflex fawn decoys... Foam..I use to stuff it with old rags to make it look more realistic.  I wish someone would make a good solid fawn decoy.  Not a folding cardboard one... One kind of like the big deer decoys that are on the market.  Um maybe some of you call makers on here can market a good one?
Um Featherfex fawn decoy....The tail just keeps  falling off...

UB, my mother has a 18 inch high 3d fawn made of plastic. It is a lawn ornament. She doesn't remember where she got it. Check the internet and you might find one. Remember the ones in the movie "Christmas vacation"? The reindeer that Sparky kicked the you know what out of? Someone already makes them, you just have to find them.

Ya know foxpro had a decoy in Ohio but I do not see it on their home page.
I am thinking of trying a new decoy this year but not sure what type.
