Rifle cases for reloading do you think it really matters if they are brass, nickel? Does having a certain name reloading case matter like Winchester, Remington, Nosler, Hornady etc etc etc?
What about buying other peoples used brass? Is just having a regular stage 1 resizing die matter or if your going to use someone elses brass they used through one of their guns should you use a Small Base Resizning die?

nickle cases are not nickle entirely...just nickle plated brass. makes them a bit more stiff is all....little extra 'umph' on the press handle is all. nickle puts more wear and tear on your dies than brass so i prefer the brass.
as for reloading used brass....i've only done it with Longhairs brass he gives me. we both have the same make or rifle in the the same cartridge(obviously)...i will do a full length resize on the first run through with his brass...than just neck size after that. i will not neck size only on used brass until i know the brass has been fire formed to my chamber. never used a small base resizing die so have to thoughts on that subject. ;D
