I saw this topic on another web site. However the answer could prove interesting here to see just when coyotes started entering your area of the Commonwealth of Pa.
I saw my first Pa coyote in 1987. I was hunting deer along Indiantown Gap in Dauphin county..
What about you?

I saw my first Pa. coyote in 2008 in Bucks county. I happen to catch it on a trail cam. Then I was able to shoot one on the neighboring farm.

Never saw a coyote until 1993 when I caught three while trapping.Have seen them almost every year since.

1990, 2 came down a gas line during deer season.
I see 1-3 a year hunting them, only seen 3 or 4 since then, as a casual encounter, driving down the road ect.

can't remember the year, i would say early 90's in luzerne county when i first saw one. I first saw tracks in bradford co in the mid to late 80s.

First Pa coyote I saw was back in either 1977 or 1978 use to help a fur buyer with his skinning and a guy brought it in. he trapped it near Woodland PA. First one I ever seen in the wild was around 1987 while turkey hunting.
