Title: First call in and shot
Post by: war_nrg on October 08, 2009, 12:37:21 PM
Greetings,
Called in my 1st coyotes on Monday night.  Had them in to 120 yards or so, open field, clear night.  Turned the red light on, looked thru the scope and just a red blur!!! Duh had the 4-16 scope on 16, not a good idea at night, took me a few to figure that one out.  Adjusted down to 4 power turned the red light back on and I got one sitting out at about 100 yards.  Shot for the eyes.  Saw no movement after the shot, Maybe?  Walked up no sign of a hit and no dog!  But what a rush to finally, after a year and half to call them in at least and get a shot

Greetings Ben,
Got em out the woods with dual rabbit distress on the FX 3 but they hung up at 200 or so yards.  Used Bootmuds bulb call, I think its called Peker to get em in closer.
