Hello all,
New to the forums and predator hunting. Been hunting everything else in PA for many, many years but after seeing more and more coyotes in my area I've decided to try them too. Only been out a couple of times with a friend and my 9 yr old son and so far our only success calling anything in is one house cat and a raccoon. While I guess I'm doing something right I've obviously got a long way to go.
As far as personal information I'm 41 yrs. old and live in Claysville, PA which is just south of Washington, PA. Been married 18 years to a wonderful lady who let's me get away with far more than I should. We have a son, 9, who has been hunting with me for the last two years under the mentored program. He's got 3 groundhogs under his belt and just got his first fox squirrel this past opening day. We also have a daughter, 12, who is finally showing interest in hunting (Yea!) and just enrolled in a HTE course to get her license. Mom doesn't hunt but enjoys the outdoors including camping, hiking and fishing.
I lurked the forums for a while before signing up and am impressed at the information available here and the friendly atmosphere. I'm looking forward to learning the tricks from everyone here.

Thanks guys!
One thing is for sure, this is addictive. I thought reloading was bad but this could be worse.
Of course my wife just groaned when I said I want to try to make an e-call. Then of course there's cover scents, a blind, have to have several types of calls. She just gave me "that look" and walked away. ;)
Muttbuster - I know where Jefferson Hills is. That's not a bad area either. Thanks for the offer. I'll keep it in mind.

Welcome....Your on the right track if you already called in a coon...Suggest www.huntsmart.com.....The Dennis Kirk book entitled: All You Wanted To Know Aobut Fox Calling. Good way to start...
Now coyote calling is different then fox calling in the duation and of you calling... Just remember when after coyotes do not over call...Let gaps of 8 minutes or silence between your calling...
Good Luck welcome... UB
