Title: Bearded Hen.

Seen my first bearded hen of the season yesterday. She had about a 7" beard. I shot one 7 years ago in the fall season and seen one a couple years ago. We must have the genetics to produce them here. I would love to harvest a double bearded gobbler though. Never have.

I shot a bearded hen last spring.  Beard measured 7.5 inches.  The taxidermist I deal with bought her from me for $50.
