I got a doe. That's all that I wanted. Some meat for the freezer. ;D

Post by: longhair on December 12, 2008, 09:04:52 PM: THAT'S what a quad is for. ;) Even got a rack that I put the deer on and drive the it on the truck. Don't even have to lift it in the truck. Heck, I may look like sanford, but I got everything that I need and then some.

It's really neat for hog hunt'n. Shoot on one, then go to the other end. Shoot another one, then drive back to the other end again. (big fields) ;D

Mine was about1.5-2 years old.......the sweet meat !!!!! ;)

Post by: predator77 on January 08, 2009, 08:57:16 PM: Horrible deer season all the way around. Archery only seen 2 nice bucks and passed up about 6 jaggerhead bucks I passed on. Put down my bow Halloween and started hunting Fox after seeing them everywhere. Almost got killed rifle season by a group of hunters that kept shooting at a little 1.5 yr old 8 point they hit on another property. Instead of letting it die on it's own they kept chasing it and shooting. Finally on thew last shot while the buck was 30 yards behind me going into the woozie dying drop he was shot at again but this time they hit a sapling and fragments exploded hit the trees 20 yards to my right. I shot a doe though. Didn't see a 3.5 year old all rifle season.
