I remember Eddy for sure. Wasn't he from Penssylvania?
I remember listening to radio (night) to WWVA, Wheeling, W.Va. to ole country/western turns. I loved it. Listen'n to the floor model radio (tube style).
Saturday morning I had to go to Bobby Krebs house to watch the cowboy shows, he had the only TV around...as time went by, the Krebs updated to 'color tv'. Wow. I made sure I was a good boy so Mom left me go to Krebs' to watch 'Wonderful World of Disney' in living color!!
Our home didn't get TV for a while and I was in Jr. High school before we had a phone.
We got indoor plumbing and indoor bathroom sometime when I was 12-14 years old.
