BOARD APPROVES PURCHASE OF MORE THAN 1,100 ACRES
The Board of Game Commissioners today approved the acquisition of more than 1,100 acres in Clearfield, Cambria and Somerset counties.

On Aug. 27, the Board of Game Commissioners took notational votes to approve two items from the Bureau of Wildlife Habitat Management that required expedited consideration. Such consideration is authorized by Title 34 (Game and Wildlife Code).
BOARD APPROVES PROPOSED TIOGA COUNTY RECLAMATION PROJECT
The Board of Game Commissioners today approved of deep-mine daylighting and acid mine drainage abatement project and lease requested by the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on a 30.8-acre parcel of State Game Land 268 in Morris Township, Tioga County.
