How much trouble would it be to look into
filming all the seminars at the expo and sell the tapes.
could split the take with the speakers that wouldn't want to donate.

I think thats a great idea.
I think we have some great videographers here......any lawyers know what all would be needed for releases?? ??

copyright stuff, copyright agreements from record companies to use songs if they are used, video editor/producer. If the video wants to be professionally edited, it will take a good chunk of change.

we considered doing this last year at the expo.
problem is not all those who give seminars for us were willing to have their seminar recorded. some do seminars for a cost...and to record them for our profit is not going to fly.
as Dufman said....the editing is a tough thing to do. BUT, with todays software a simple video can be pulled together from a personal computer.
i think some sort of PPHA video can or should be attempted. maybe a couple filmed hunts submitted by each district than put on one disc.
make it a limited run so we can avoid copy costs.

They're not on this years list are they? It is understandable if they feel they have a marketable item. But let's keep them off the list of the new years expo.
