Everyone who feels that way needs to send a email to voice their opinions.  I will send a email from the ppha as D-5 coordinator about this issue.  But as Darin brought up we don't attend meetings. It's hard with everyone having families, work and also for me they are 3+ hours away. I think we need someone there but until one of us can make it or one of our members volunteers we have to email. Here is the address if anyone is interested pgccomments@pa.gov

Message sent to PGC, possibly if more people chime in maybe we can get Sunday open to hunt bobcats.
I might be pushing my luck here but why does the season end on Feb. 9th a Tuesday why not Feb. 13th a Saturday, not much time if you work 5-6 days a week.

32-20, Same reason they ended fall turkey in my area on a Friday, read the digest on dates or pay a fine I guess.

:D I just did  ;D Only I suggested that it be open for all fur bearers  :D I don't believe the number of individuals participating would greatly impact the resource by doing this.  :)  8)

Sent again

I might be pushing my luck here but why does the season end on Feb. 9th a Tuesday why not Feb. 13th a Saturday, not much time if you work 5-6 days a week.

I believe this is to give the hunters the same opportunity as the trappers.  Hunting season is two days longer to make up for the two Sundays.

I am very much in favor of the Sunday hunting. I would really like to see them go back to a lottery drawing and give us the full season.  I know everyone doesn't feel that way, but it was great having 20 or so weekends to hunt them and pick out a nice big cat and go after it.  Pass and release the small ones knowing you have plenty of time to make it happen.  I live in good cat territory, so I generally have no trouble getting a cat every year, but this short season really hurts you guys that live away from cat zones.   Hunt them every few years and get a quality one.

It sure doesn't make much sense. I don't get the separate seasons either......   ??? ??? ???

It was the hunters voice that got this.  The dog hunters did not want to have the same season as the trappers.

I have done both my entire life and support anything that benefits either one without negatively effecting the other.

Who do I send an email to about Sunday bobcats?  With my work schedule it is really hard for me to make it to any type of meeting but I can send emails to anyone at anytime only takes a couple minutes.
